HOW I MAKE MY CHOICES
When choosing products for my family, two factors play a key role: 1) safety for my family and 2) effect on environment. If the product passes these two things, THEN it is helpful if it actually works! I have spent LOTS of time and money finding the products that I like and that work for my family.
Environmental Working Group (EWG) is a non-profit dedicated to human health and environment. They have an extensive database where they compile all the products that have been tested and EWG applies a rating system. For EWG's guide to healthy cleaning, they have a rating system A-F that ranks the products as follows:

EWG'S Rating: not rated; entered individual ingredients and they range from A-B
